Launching at Future Proof 2026

Meet the next generation before the wealth moves.

GoodTrust gives every client household an easy, lawyer-free family estate plan, and gives you a heads-up at the life moments that matter, so the first time you meet your clients' heirs is not at the funeral.

Two hundred a month. Sixty family estate plans a year. We never compete with you for the relationship.

The $84 trillion problem

The problem is not the estate plan. It is the heirs you have never met.

$84 trillion will pass between generations through 2045, the largest wealth transfer in history. Most of it will leave the advisor who managed it, because the advisor never met the people inheriting it.

Advisors who add estate planning grow

It is not only retention. Advisors who bring estate planning into the relationship report deeper client relationships, more assets from existing clients, and new clients who came for the conversation.

How it works

One product, three layers. The plan is what you explain to a client in a sentence. The signals and the next-generation toolkit are what you cannot get anywhere else.

1. A family plan your clients finish on their own

Attorney-drafted, state-specific, completed in an evening without a lawyer. Delivered under your brand.

  • Will, trust, powers of attorney, healthcare directives
  • Guardian for the kids, the house in a trust
  • Funeral wishes, pet care, digital vault and digital legacy
  • Bank-grade security, encryption and compliance; dedicated support for complex cases

2. A heads-up at the life moments that matter

With your client's consent, you hear the next morning when something in their plan changes. Every one is a reason to call.

  • Guardian named, house moved into a trust
  • Beneficiary changed, healthcare directive completed
  • Plan started and stalled

3. The tools to reach the next generation

The part most advisors say they do not know how to start.

  • Heir map across your whole book
  • Warm introductions, sent by your client, not by us
  • Family meeting kit and next-gen onboarding under your brand

Be in the room when it counts

Families finish parts of their plan when life makes them. Those are the moments you most want to be present for, and usually are not.

With your client's consent, you hear the next morning when something in their plan changes. GoodTrust drafts the call; you make it. The plan is finished at home on a Tuesday night; the family meeting is yours on Wednesday.

Every signal is opt-in for the client, and we never share what they did if they say no.

New childGuardian named. Your opening for 529s, life insurance and the first family conversation.
New homeHouse moved into a trust. Money in motion and a new asset on the map.
Health eventHealthcare directive completed. Often the moment the children get involved.
Loss of a parentFuneral wishes recorded or an inheritance added. The client is now thinking about their own heirs.
Approaching retirementWill completed, beneficiaries reviewed. The natural time for the family meeting.
Beneficiary changedUsually a marriage, divorce or birth you have not heard about yet.

Built for the advisor, never instead of the advisor

Estate planning is how an advisor stops being the person who manages the money and becomes the trusted family advisor. That only works if the tool behind you never tries to take your seat.

"We are embedded with insurance carriers, employers and banks. We will never compete with you for the relationship. Our whole model depends on not doing that." Rikard Steiber, CEO, GoodTrust
Plan, not adviceGoodTrust guides a family through their plan. When a question becomes financial, insurance or legal advice, the product hands the family to you.
Your AI, not the client'sEvery signal and every draft works in your name. When a beneficiary changes, we draft your call; we do not message your client.
The relationship is yoursWe never market to or upsell your clients, and your relationship data (heirs, signals, meetings) belongs to you and is exportable.

Common questions

Will GoodTrust ever contact or sell to my clients?

No. Your clients get the plan under your brand. GoodTrust never markets to or upsells a family you sponsored, and when a client asks a question that needs financial, insurance or legal advice, the product hands them to you.

Are the documents valid?

Yes. Documents are attorney-drafted and state-specific, with guidance for signing and notarization where required. Complex estates that need bespoke counsel are the natural upgrade path for you and your attorney network.

What does "life-moment signals with consent" mean?

When a client completes or changes part of their plan, they are asked once whether their advisor may be notified. If they say yes, you hear about it the next morning. If they say no, you do not, and we never share what they did.

What if I don't use all 60 plans?

Plans are pooled per year, not per month, so a busy review season and a quiet summer even out. Unused plans do not roll over, but the pool is sized so most advisors never run out.

My broker-dealer might want to cover this for our whole team. Is that possible?

Yes. Broker-dealers and carriers can license GoodTrust for a tier of advisors on volume pricing. Choose "Firm / sponsored license" above and we will set up the conversation.

Can I cancel?

Within 30 days, for a full refund, if fewer than five clients have started a plan. After that, plans run on a 12-month term.
